Are you getting excited about the coming growing season? Have you been dreaming of planting your own herb garden?

Join Liz Tylander of Grateful Growers and herbalist Alex Svoboda for an informative and engaging conversation about herb gardening. We will be delving into our top 10 herbs to include in any garden, how to propagate, when and where to plant, growing conditions, as well as an overview of the medicinal and culinary qualities of the herbs we are highlighting. There will be time for Q&A at the end. Following the live class, an email will be sent to participants with a link to the zoom recording along with links to the slideshow and gathered resources for continued learning.

This class is for all levels of gardeners and plant curious people who want to gain more confidence about how to start growing their own culinary and medicinal herbs. We will be discussing both annuals and perennials, as well as highlighting herbs that grow well in containers. Anyone can garden and we want to help you get started!

Proceeds from the class will go to support the ongoing work of Grateful Growers in their community programming with Aging Partners and more. Check out this sweet video summary of their 2023 season and learn more about their mission to “Weave a web of care across our community by connecting people to plants and nature.”
